Ozlem is a native of Turkey, currently residing in San Francisco. She grew up in a Gypsy town, where she learned to dance in her native Turkish and Gypsy styles. Ozlem now dances primarily in her native styles, but is now exploring Egyptian raqs sharki as well. She currently performs on alternating Thursdays at Marrakech Restaurant in San Francisco, and has danced in the past at the Minerva Cafe (Minerva Cafe is now closed), Club Excelsior, and Santorini, in San Francisco.
